Marlene G. McPherson - Featured Artist for May

Visit the Lake Country Gallery Gift Shop to see Marlene G. McPherson's art celebrating spring-time in the Okanagan. Marlene is the featured artist for the month of May and the exhibition starts Wednesday, May 3rd.
This collection of acrylic paintings speak to the disappearing natural grasslands of the Okanagan. Cattle grazing, agriculture and urban development plus the introduction and spread of non-native plants have all contributed to the disappearance of the native grasslands of the Okanagan.
Spring-time in the Okanagan is, in this artist's opinion, the most beautiful time of year to visit the Okanagan! http://www.lakecountryartgallery.ca/
